The Copper House Story
Copper House Bakery has been a long-time dream for pastry chef & owner Chelsea Freet. After studying pastry & chocolate abroad in Switzerland, Chelsea returned knowing the pinnacle of her career would be owning and operating a bakery where customers could get a quality pastry that not only tasted great but also left you wanting to come back for more. After a decade of experience in the food industry, Chelsea decided it was time to venture on her own, and after much consideration, she decided where better to open her establishment than out of the place she adored the most, her charming 1901 farmhouse in Manassas, VA. At Copper House Bakery, we take pride in knowing that our customers will have a truly memorable experience when they try our selection of baked goods. We like to think we create a little something for everyone that shares a piece of our family with yours.

Our pastries offer a taste of family history as many of our recipes have been passed down along several generations of our family. It gives us great pleasure to share a piece of our family’s history with yours. We believe that making our baked goods from scratch is what makes us unique and separates us from the competition. Furthermore, we offer free delivery in the Northern Virginia area which we feel illustrates our small-town roots and commitment to community.
